Mary Ann Vall

Mary Ann Vall, formerly of Fargo, North Dakota, went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 3, 2013 after a courageous battle with malignant melanoma. She was 44.

Mary was born on December 2, 1968 to Ken and Ann Stuhaug in Erskine, MN. After growing up in Erskine and graduating from Win-E-Mac high school she went on to receive her MN nursing license from Northland College in Thief River Falls, MN. Upon graduation she worked at Villa Maria nursing home in Fargo, ND until her move to Corpus Christi, TX 2003 where she worked the last ten years at Christus Spohn Hospital Shoreline.

In addition to her parents, Mary is survived by her husband of 18 years Scott Vall and their son Jordan, son Zachary Sharp of Detroit Lakes, MN and granddaughter Ava Marie, brother Doug Stuhaug of Two Harbors, MN and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say thank you to Mary's friends and co-workers from Christus Spohn and a special thank you to Illumina Hospice which allowed Mary to live out her last days in the comfort of her home. "It's not goodbye Mary, it's we'll see you later"

A special family memorial will be held on Union Lake in Erskine, MN later this month.
