Kenneth G. Schellack, 74, Moorhead, MN, died on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, in Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.

Kenneth was born on February 20, 1939, in Moorhead, MN, to Otto and Ella (Thom) Schellack. He grew up and attended school in Glyndon, MN, graduating from Glyndon High School and then attending NDSU. Kenneth married Fay Evert on July 7, 1962, in Moorhead, MN. He served in the U.S. Army from February of 1963 until February of 1965 and then returned to Glyndon, MN, where he farmed all of his life.

Kenneth was born on February 20, 1939, in Moorhead, MN, to Otto and Ella (Thom) Schellack. He grew up and attended school in Glyndon, MN, graduating from Glyndon High School and then attending NDSU. Kenneth had served on the Clay County Soil and Water Board, the Red River Valley Sugar beet Growers Research and Education Board, the Glyndon-Felton School Board, as well as serving on many church boards at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sabin, MN. Church and family were the most important parts of Kenneth’s life.

He is survived by his wife, Fay, Moorhead, MN; sons, Randy Schellack, and his children Kendra and Adam, Glyndon, MN; Gary (Penny) Schellack, and their children Madison, Megan, Macey and Maleah, Moorhead, MN; brother Ralph (Ann) Schellack, Glyndon, MN; sisters, Nadine (John) Glas, Moorhead, MN, and Pauline Schellack, Chanhassen, MN; and a sister-in-law, Marlys (Jerome) Ernst.

Visitation: Friday, October 25, 2013, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M., in Trinity Lutheran Church, Sabin, MN.

Funeral: Saturday, October 26, 2013, at 10:30 A.M., with visitation for one hour prior, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Sabin, MN.

Interment: Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Sabin, MN.
