Delores M. Ehlke

Delores M. Ehlke, 78 of Fargo, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo.

Delores (Bean) Ehlke was born in a farmhouse outside Lansford, North Dakota to Art and Edith (Golder) Bean on September 10th, 1935. She attended grade school and graduated from Glenburn High School.

Delores M. Ehlke, 78 of Fargo, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo.

Delores (Bean) Ehlke was born in a farmhouse outside Lansford, North Dakota to Art and Edith (Golder) Bean on September 10th, 1935. She attended grade school and graduated from Glenburn High School.

Delores married Floyd Ehlke in 1953. Delores had lived in San Diego, California, worked at the Fremont Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada and lived many years in Maxbass, North Dakota where she raised her sons and worked as a clerk at Twites Jack and Jill. She worked closely with her sister-in-law, Marion Mettler in a restaurant in Rugby and on a Maxbass farm. She also painted and papered many houses with her sister-in-law, Muriel Brandt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd and brothers, John and Charles.

Delores is survived by her sons, Craig (Marlene) and Brian (Sandra); three grandchildren, Floyd (Mandy), Ruth, and Wyatt, and two great-grandchildren, Madison and Glen.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 15 at 2:00 pm at Faith Lutheran Church, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.

Graveside Service: Thursday, January 16 at 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot, ND.
