David Dean Price

David Dean Price, 77, of Red Wing, died Saturday, January 25 at the Three Links Reflections hospice in Northfield.

David was born to Shirley and Ellen Price at Lake Mills, IA on June 13, 1936. He attended high school in Orr, MN and college at Mankato State University where he majored in Industrial Arts Education. He taught adult education/woodworking and had a furniture shop for a number of years. He married Connie (Fjelstul) Price on November 20, 1971 in Walker, Minnesota and they lived in Fargo, ND and Red Wing, MN. He enjoyed cross country skiing and the outdoors and also being part of the Men in Mission and TAG groups at church.

David is survived by his wife Connie, his sister Sharon (Price) Hill of Cook, MN, his sister-in-law, Donna Price of Apple Valley, MN, 3 nieces: Cara Wright (Apple Valley), Jill Therien (St. Paul), BK Young (Cook), and special family members James Dinh, Yen Dao, Dung Ha, Cindy Kile and their families.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother, Darwin.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 Wednesday, January 29, at United Lutheran Church in Red Wing with Reverend Justin Boeding officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.
