Ruth Madeline Clemens Ure

Ruth Madeline Clemens was born in Fargo, North Dakota on October 12, 1912. Ruth was the second born in a family of 10 children. Her father was Pierre William Clemens and mother was Mary Edna Cline Clemens, both from Fargo, ND. Ruth married her husband Sam during WWII, and after the war moved to San Diego, CA, where they raised their 5 children. Ruth and Sam were married nearly 60 years, and after his death in 2001, Ruth moved to the Redwoods, in Mill Valley, CA to be near her daughters Nancy & Ann. Ruth frequently saw all of her children and grandchildren, and celebrated her 100th and 101st birthdays with her family at the Redwoods. Ruth passed away Saturday morning, February 8, 2014. Ruth is survived by her brother William Clemens of St. Cloud, MN, her daughters Nancy, Jane(Hardy) and Ann, her sons Tom(Dotti)and Herb(Elma), the granddaughters Nicolle(Charlie), Robin(Jeff), Katie and Molly, and great grandchildren William, Luke, Samantha and Teddy.
