  • We were driving west home to Mapleton around 12:30 pm, we heard about the accident on the radio and knew it was up ahead. Going over 10 mph was impossible, there was zero visibility. i was stunned at the sight of so many cars, stacked like dominoes for such a long stretch. We saw several in the west bound ditches also, but thankfully made it home safe. These photos were taken on my phone, I have a few more also. Traffic wasn't be rerouted at this point. it was horrifying to know more cars would not see the vehicles and add to the pileup. The worst accident scene I have ever witnessed. It actually gets higher closer to the edge of the deck. Our table, chairs, and grill are no where to be found as they're covered in snow!" Submitted photo by Amber, Ryan and Elizabeth Back

  • Look at what we went through... This is the only access to 32nd and we were stuck in our apartment for until 12:00 noon on Friday. Cars are still stuck on the main road and our apartment is snow free. Thanks to the snow removal guys who came and gave us a path to get to the grocery store for food!
