Judith Partridge Suby, born June 10, 1941, died of cancer on September 25, 2013 at the age of 72 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she was living with her daughter, Stacy Ramdas, during her treatment for ovarian cancer. Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel at Gethsemane Cathedral, 3600 25th Street South, Fargo, North Dakota. Judy was preceded in death by her father Thomas M. Partridge and her mother June Syler Partridge and is survived by her sister Jane Guiliano (Bernard Guiliano), her brother Thomas Partridge (Debby Partridge), daughters Sarah Suby (Mark Dorn) and Stacy Ramdas (Ravi Ramdas) and five grandchildren who will miss their YaYa greatly: Sophie, Marlee and Siri Dorn and Sanjay and Shanta Ramdas. Jean Betty Anderson, 95, of Fargo, ND, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Sanford Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.

Jean Betty was born February 10, 1918 to H.C. and Claire Aamoth in Valley City, North Dakota. At the age of two the family moved to Fargo where she lived the rest of her life. She received her college degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin at Madison after spending her first two years at the University of North Dakota. Her lifelong dream was to become a clothing designer, but that was not to be as Wisconsin did not offer that major. She was a member of Alpha Phi sorority. After college, Jean Betty was offered a fellowship at the University of Washington, but she declined to return home and marry.

Philip Dudley Stafne
Philip Dudley Stafne, 70, a life-long resident of Fargo, passed away on May 21, 2013 at Villa Maria Nursing Home in Fargo, surrounded by family, friends, Villa Maria staff and assisted by Hospice.

Born in 1943 to Dr. William Arnold and Elizabeth Dudley Farnham Stafne, he graduated from Fargo Central High School and later St. Olaf College, where he was a member of the Viking Male Chorus. In 1968, he graduated with a JD from the University of Denver Law School. He was admitted to the Bar in Colorado and North Dakota and served in the US Army, with his last posting in Frankfurt, Germany as a legal clerk.
