Rory Alan Benz
Rory Alan Benz, 23, of Fargo, was born Easter Sunday, March 26, 1989. He chose to go home to be with the Lord on March 19, 2013.
Rory grew up and attended school in Fargo. He was a baptized member of Hope Lutheran Church. Rory started swimming with the Gators team when he was in second grade and went on to be an award-winning diver on the Fargo North diving team. He was president of the Art Club and attended Boys' State, graduating from Fargo North High School in 2008. He started working at the 19th Avenue North Holiday Station at the age of 16 and was employed there for 7 years. He enjoyed chatting with the Fargo North students and the many family friends who came into the station during his shifts.

Marjorie Mae Hanson Small, 95, died Friday April 5th at her Anoka, MN home. She was born November 25, 1917 near Engelvale, ND to parents Mae (Hopewell) Hanson and Paul Hanson. She is survived by her son Dennis Wm. Small of Burnsville, MN, Daughter in Law Denise C. Harris Small of Anoka, MN, Granddaughter Robbin Mae Small (Daniel Johnson) of Bremerton, WA, and Grandson Rory R. Small (Pamela) of Hastings, MN. Additionally, five Great Grand Children: Oban Johnson, Jura Johnson, Mitchell Small, Abigail Small and Deanna Small.
A graduate of the North Dakota Agricultural College (North Dakota State University) in September, 1939, with a Home Economics degree. She immediately began her teaching career. Assignments varied from school districts in the Dakotas during WWII and the majority of years at Anoka, MN. Her retirement in 1975 marked a total of 37 years of dedicated instruction.

Norman (Pete) Kalvick, 91 of Grand Forks, ND, passed away February 16, 2013 in Larimore, ND.
He was born June 20, 1921 in Hannaford ND the son of Ole and Gina Kalvick. He was raised on the family farm and graduated from Hannaford High School in 1940. In March of 1944 he enlisted in the United States Army and served until May of 1946. After the Army he started working for the Great Northern Railroad.
