Letter: Absurd letter lacks punchline
I read the letter in the Nov. 15 Forum from Kay Syvrud complaining about The Forum’s printing letters to the editor by “favorite liberals.” According to her logic, printing letters to the editor by Democrats cost the tea partiers elective offices.

Rory Alan Benz
Rory Alan Benz, 23, of Fargo, was born Easter Sunday, March 26, 1989. He chose to go home to be with the Lord on March 19, 2013.

Rory grew up and attended school in Fargo. He was a baptized member of Hope Lutheran Church. Rory started swimming with the Gators team when he was in second grade and went on to be an award-winning diver on the Fargo North diving team. He was president of the Art Club and attended Boys' State, graduating from Fargo North High School in 2008. He started working at the 19th Avenue North Holiday Station at the age of 16 and was employed there for 7 years. He enjoyed chatting with the Fargo North students and the many family friends who came into the station during his shifts.

LaMoure great Thielges passes away
FARGO – Leon Thielges was the senior leader of the 1976 LaMoure High School boys basketball team that won the North Dakota Class B state championship. The Loboes’ leader passed away Tuesday at the age of 54. Thielges scored a combined 75 points at the 1976 state tournament and helped LaMoure to an undefeated mark of 29-0.
