Alton Aasen
Alton (Tony) Duane Aasen passed away at ManorCare in Fargo, Thursday, February 28, 2013.

Alton was born January 27, 1931 in Northwood, North Dakota, to Alfred and Christine (Steffenson) Aasen. He grew up and attended schools in Northwood until 1937, when the family moved to Grand Forks. In 1940, they moved to East Grand Forks where he continued his education. Alton attended Ackers Business College receiving a Junior Accounting diploma in 1958. He took a temporary job with a dental lab in Grand Forks. When that job was finished, his father sent out letters to the dental labs in the area on Alton's behalf. He moved to Fargo in 1964 and took a position with Welu Dental Lab as a lab dental tech. He worked there until his retirement in 2006. Alton was known for his love of TV and watching movies.

Dr. Roy A. Johnson, age 94 of Fargo, ND, formerly of Minneapolis, MN passed peacefully on May 14,2013

Roy was born in Minneapolis, MN on March 16, 1919, after graduating from Minneapolis South High School, he attended Augsburg College, and Univ. of Minnesota dental school, graduating in March of 1943. After graduation he entered the Army Dental Corps and was assigned to posts in California and India, returning to marry his high school sweetheart, Marion Arliss Erickson on October 16, 1943. Roy joined the Army Reserve after his active duty and retired as a full colonel and chief of dental service for the 5501 USAR hospital at Fort Snelling.

Orphie (Sollom) English
Orphie (Sollom) English, 101 of Grafton, ND passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton.

Orphie Sollom was born June 10, 1911 on the family farm near Reynolds, ND the daughter of Norwegian pioneers, Julius T. and Annie (Berg) Sollom. She attended rural school near Reynolds and Central High School in Grand Forks, ND. Following her education Orphie worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Smith. Orphie was united in marriage to William “Buzz” English on June 29, 1938 at the Rosendal Lutheran Church of Reynolds, ND. The couple made their home in Fargo where she worked as a dental assistant. She later worked as a retail clerk for Sears and J.C. Penney’s. Orphie worked as a Claims Adjuster for Blue Cross and Blue Shield retiring in 1974. William passed away in 1994 and Orphie continued to make her home in Fargo until 2007 when she moved to Grafton.

Dr. Paul J. Henningson
Paul John Henningson passed away on Friday, April 5th, 2013 due to an aggressive cancer. He was at his home in Baxter, MN surrounded by his wife Bonnie, his two sons Nathan and William and his parents.

Paul was born in Fargo, ND on June 4, 1956 to Les and Helen (Rozum) Henningson. He was baptized and confirmed at Elim Lutheran Church. After attending Fargo Public Schools Paul went on to North Dakota State University were he first graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and later a Master's Degree in Plant Pathology. Following several years of research as a microbiologist at NDSU Paul moved with his young family to Lincoln. There he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. Upon graduation the family relocated to the Brainerd Lakes Area where Paul began practicing dentistry.

Angela Marie Wentz
Angela Marie Wentz was born on March 19, 1971 to Nancy and David Wentz and passed away April 9, 2013 after a courageous battle fighting her traumatic injuries. Angie was a very loving and caring person. She loved her family and friends very much, including her animals. Angie was an avid nature lover and loved camping, hiking and spending time outdoors with her fiancé Jesse. We will all miss her beautiful smile and spirited personality.

Angie graduated from Moorhead High School in 1989. After graduating, Angie spent a year working in the ski industry in Colorado. After returning from Colorado, Angie attended NDSU majoring in biological sciences. Angie received an opportunity to move to Ibiza, Spain where she worked in the tourism industry. Upon returning to Fargo, she worked various jobs. Shortly after her return, Angie went to California and worked at an animal sanctuary. Upon her return to Fargo, she worked for her father at Woodlawn Dental Center until her death.
