She grew up in Rolla, ND, and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Devils Lake, ND, in 1973. She married Gregg Engelhart in Devils Lake in 1975. She is survived by her children Patrick (Tanya), Mandan, ND; Maureen (Matt) Simet, Brookings, SD; Michael (Ami), Custer, SD; and Bryan (Anna), Minneapolis, Mn; 5 grandchildren, mother, Mary Egan, and sisters Kathleen Garza, Peggy (Dan) Kurtz, and Meredith (Scott) Pfennig. She was preceded in death by her father. A private service will be held Wednesday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Hanson Runsvold Funeral Home

He taught at Oak Grove for several years before moving to Calif. where he continued to teach music,art and special education in the Los Gatos Union School District until retirement. He received a special award of being Teacher of the Year in Calif. He also was organist at the Church of Christ,Scientist for nearly 50 years.

Born to parents Tyler and Darcy Larson, and big brother Caden at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, he weighed 7 lbs 2 oz and was 20 ½ inches long. Our little angel flew away too soon and will always be remembered and loved.

Donald Leonard Lamb
Dr. Donald Leonard Lamb, age 82, departed to the ultimate hunting ground on Feb. 14, 2013. he last lived in the Memory Care Unit of Sheyenne Crossings in West Faro, North Dakota.
Don was born in Fargo, N.D. on July 19, 1930 to Martha Ingelina Erickson and Richard Donald Lamb, and was raised in Dilworth, Minn. After high school he enlisted as a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy and served from 1948-1949. He then attended NDSU until he started medical school at UND and completed his internship at the University of Utah. After completing his general surgery residency at the University of Minnesota, he attended the University of Pittsburgh and finished his training in Plastic Surgery in 1963. He moved back and started his solo practice in Fargo, N.D. At that time he was the only plastic surgeon in the country between Minneapolis and Seattle. His surgical mentors were skeptical he could survive in rural America, but he developed a successful practice and ultimately retired in 1995 after helping many children with cleft lips and palates as well as hundreds of trauma victims. He served on the Fargo School Board from 1974-1977.
