John was born March 8, 1917 to James and Byrtha Goodman in Sheldon, ND. He had an older brother, Joe, and a younger brother, Robert. He married June Kemmer Schossow in 1954, and adopted her three children, Jean, Daniel and David. A year later John and June had a son, James.

Donald Spiekermeier
Donald Spiekermeier, 86, Sheldon, passed away February 28, 2013 at Sanford Health, Fargo ND. Donald Lawrence Spiekermeier was born February 15, 1927 to John and Bessie Spiekermeier at Sheldon, North Dakota. He grew up in Sheldon and graduated there. He farmed for many years and also worked various other jobs throughout his life. Donnie had been at the Good Samaritan Center in Arthur since 2006, where he enjoyed his time with fellow residents and the staff. Donald is survived by his three children, Lynn (Jan) Spiekermeier, Colorado, Paula (Dan) Aspelund, Minnesota, and David (Pauline) Spiekermeier, Iowa, along with 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He also leaves brothers Jack (Marlyss), Roy, (Anna Mae), and sister Mary (Pat) Boyle. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, March 4 at St. Mary’s, Sheldon, ND. Kellie S. (Archbold) Lemna, 48, Enderlin, ND went to be with her Lord January 13, 2013 after a courageous battle with ALS. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, January 16, with visitation starting at 4:00. A Catholic funeral is scheduled for 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 17. Both services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, Enderlin, ND.
Kellie was born November 10, 1964 in Valley City, ND, the daughter of Dennis Archbold and Carmen (Lindeman) Archbold. Kellie grew up on the family farm and graduated from Enderlin High School in 1983. After graduation she attended University of Mary and University of North Dakota to obtain a BSN-RN Nursing Degree. Kellie married Bill Lemna of Enderlin, at a ceremony in Alice, ND, on November 7, 1986. Bill and Kellie raised three children in rural Alice, where Bill farmed and Kellie worked as a registered nurse at Sanford Hospital in Fargo in the burn and cardiology units before she transferred to become a nurse at Maryhill Manor in Enderlin, ND, where she worked until she contracted ALS in 1999.

James W. Cramer, 93, passed away Sunday, March 10, at Maryhill Manor, Enderlin, N.D.
James Wilbur Cramer was born February 11, 1920, near Leeton, MO, to Ora Samuel Cramer and Mabel (Cox) Cramer. He was educated in Leeton, and worked at the family farm until enlisting in the US Army in 1942. Jim served stateside for one year, guarding the locks at Sioux Ste. Marie, Michigan. He was then deployed overseas, serving in an infantry combat unit in England, France, and Germany. This unit was part of General Eisenhower's guard company, which set up the general's headquarters in Europe. Jim's unique role during this time was to tend and milk cows, providing fresh milk for the general.

Robert T. Molland, a native of North Dakota, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Northern Nevada Hospital in Sparks, Nevada. He had resided in Sparks, NV for three years. His wife, Arlene M. Molland and his four siblings, Dorothy Raden, Leland Molland, Adelaide Helt, and Franklin Molland predeceased him.
Robert Thomas Molland was born November 25, 1926 to Thomas Molland and Myrtle Phillips Molland in Nome, North Dakota. Robert attended Nome, ND Public School and graduated from Fargo High School in 1944. He started taking classes at Valley City Teacher’s College before enlisting in the United States Navy Reserve as an apprentice Seaman in Ames, Iowa from 1944-1946. Robert received an Honorable Discharge in 1946.
