OAKES, N.D. – After opening with two sub-par sets on Monday, the Fargo Oak Grove volleyball team ended on a roll. The Grovers swept North Sargent 25-23, 25-21, 25-15 in the quarterfinals of the Class B, Region 1 volleyball tournament at Oakes High School. Oak Grove (30-6) ended the third set with an 11-1 run to top the Bobcats. “We started off a little slow, but we came back and we played our best,” said junior middle hitter Hannah Kelley, who finished with eight kills for the Grovers.

FARGO – With only three days of playing together, the 12 players on the East All-Star volleyball team appear to have mastered the art of creating on-the-fly team chemistry.
