Teri Lynn (Mogck) Pierce, 56, passed away Wednesday February 19th, 2014, surrounded by her girls and sister after a long courageous battle with an incredibly rare cancer. Teri was born September 27th, 1957 to Kenneth Maylon Mogck and Jeanne Elizabeth (Mcgillivary) Charnetzki in Fargo, ND. She was raised in Medina and Forman before moving with her family to Valley City at the age of nine. Teri graduated from VCHS in 1975 and then moved to New York City to work. She was a nanny there for almost two years, as well as did runway and advertisement modeling for toothpaste because of her big white smile. This smile was one that Teri was famous for, through all her years working in sales and hospitality.

On December 27th, 1984 Teri married Steven Pierce in Page, ND. Together they had two daughters, Josalyn Elizabeth and Jenna Ellen. Teri often told her girls stories about her adventures on the farm over the ten years she lived there. Steven and Teri divorced in 1989 and Teri enrolled at Concordia college in Moorhead, MN to study social work. Teri met Craig Schafer and in 1991 and her circle of love was complete with the birth of her youngest daughter Shelby Lee.

Teri Lea Wick Dittmer, 57, of Moorhead and formerly of Fergus Falls, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Sanford Health in Fargo.

She was born August 9, 1955, in Wadena, MN, the daughter of Ray and Barbara (Amberg) Wick. She graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1973. She worked as a waitress in various restaurants over the years.

Wilson (Bill) Cox, age 84, died on Wednesday, July 10, under the care of Hospice. Bill is survived by his wife, Phyllis, son, Jeff (Judy), daughters, Patti Eider, (Rick), Susan Opp (Greg), Teri Tupa (Mike), 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Darrel Johnson
Age 66 of Plymouth, MN. With heavy hearts we share the news of Darrel’s passing while vacationing in Florida; he was struck and killed by a car on March 6, 2014. Born in Fargo, ND; a graduate of Oak Grove High School and NDSU. Darrel retired from Ford Motor Credit and enjoyed his retirement working at Providence Academy, Ridgedale YMCA and Mpls. Auto Action. He loved volunteering at IOCP, golfing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Selma. He will be deeply missed by Teri, his wife of 40 years; daughters, Angela (Ryan) Saul & Jill (Matt) Miller; grandchildren, Katelyn & Charlotte Saul, Henry & Franklin Miller and other loving relatives.

Memorial Service Celebrating Darrel’s life will be 11:30 AM Saturday, June 21 at Messiah United Methodist Church, 17805 Cty. Rd. 6 in Plymouth. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Private interment Messiah United Methodist Columbarium. In Lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Lazarus Project, Ridgedale YMCA or Messiah’s Columbarium fund.

Delilah “Dee” Doeden
Delilah “Dee” Doeden, 76, of Dilworth, MN, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at home under the care of family and Hospice of the Red River Valley. Dee was born February 7, 1937, to John and Iola (Kelly) Lorentz in Moorhead, MN, where she grew up and attended school. On June 27, 1958, she married Fred Doeden. Together they lived in Moorhead for a year before making their home in Dilworth and raising a family. She later enjoyed working as a Para with handicapped students at the school in Dilworth and retired in 1999 after twenty years. Dee was a member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She also enjoyed socializing at their lake home, playing dice and cards, but most of all loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Dee is survived by her husband of 55 years, Fred; children, Greg (Vickie) Doeden of Moorhead, MN, Wanda (Ed) Oslica of Bellevue, NE; grandchildren, Amanda (Mark) Fleming, Karley Krieger, Taylor Doeden, Zac Oslica, Morgan Oslica; daughter-in-law, Teri (Perry) Krieger; sister, JoAnn Boit; and sister-in-law, Eldora Lorentz.

Jo Krahn Moritz
Jo Krahn Moritz passed away in her Moorhead home surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley on May 12th, 2013.

Jo was born on July 1st, 1934 to John & Agatha Schatz of Velva, North Dakota. She was the youngest of eight children. After graduating from high school in 1951, Jo met and married Arnold Krahn from Langdon, ND on July 25th, 1952. The two settled in South Moorhead and began their life together starting a family. Together they had four children, Patricia who was stillborn, Timothy, Teri and Thomas. Her husband Arnie passed away in November of 1963. Jo raised their three children as a single mom and after the kids had all graduated from high school she was re-married in June of 1980 to Robert Moritz of Moorhead, Minnesota. Jo and Bob enjoyed spending time at their lake home on Fish Lake during the summers and taking many winter trips to escape the cold weather. Bob was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease in 1996 and passed away in 2000.
