August "Auggie" Klundt, 93, Moorhead, MN, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013, in Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.

August Adolph Klundt was born on May 12, 1920, to Wilhelm and Elizabeth (Losing) Klundt, in Beulah, ND. On July 21, 1941, he married Ida Zeller. They made their home, for a time, in northern Ohio while August worked on local farms, for a furniture company, and at the Willow Run Ford Bomber Plant in Michigan making B-24 Liberator bombers for WWII. He was later drafted in 1944, serving with the 136th Army Infantry.
