Orell Mesker
Orell Mesker, 83, of Ulen, MN died Thursday, March 25, 2013 in Sanford Health Systems, Fargo, ND.

Orell Lloyd Mesker, son of Lloyd and Anna (Orwald) Mesker, was born June 6, 1929 in the Twin Valley-Syre, MN area. He attended country school in the area and worked on the family farm. Orell worked on various farms until he moved to Portland, OR. He also spent time the Montana mountains cutting pulp. In 1957, he returned to MN and was employed at the Magnus Wefald farms near Hawley, MN until 1970 when he started working at the Felton Elevator. On January 28, 1989 Orell was united in marriage to Carol (Kellen) Rowland. He moved to Ulen and retired from the Felton Elevator in 1992. Orell was a talented metal worker making beautiful metal crafts and was a great handyman who loved to help his friends and neighbors.
