Square dancers raise funds for American Heart Association
Area square dancers kicked up their heels recently to raise money for the American Heart Association. Ninety-eight square dancers and five spectators from North Dakota and Minnesota raised $3,553 at the 22nd annual North West Region Square Dance for Heart benefit March 30 at the Waubun (Minn.) Community Center.

David L. Redmann
David L. Redmann, 72, West Fargo, ND passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Bethany on University, Fargo with Shirley Essary at his side along with sister Donna present. He was born on October 17, 1941 at his maternal grandmothers’ home in Enderlin, ND to Otto and Leone (Welke) Redmann. He grew up on a farm in Nome where he attended country school. He graduated from Tower City High School.

Following graduation, he enlisted in the Army. Dave also served in the National Guard for ten years after his discharge from the Army. While serving in the Guard, he attended Dakota Business College where he earned a business accounting degree. Dave worked in the banking industry for over 30 years retiring due to illness in 2012. He also worked for Ward Muscatell attending car auctions as a car buyer and purchased all the vehicles for the Hawley, Mn dealership. Dave enjoyed this immensely.
