Marie Gussiaas, age 81, of Carrington, ND, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 6, 2014, surrounded by those that meant the most, her family. Marie courageously battled cancer and died with dignity.

Marie Carr was born on February 6, 1933, the daughter of Edward and Irene (Theis) Carr at her parents’ farm in rural Carrington. She graduated from Carrington High School in 1951.

Robert William Otto
Robert William Otto of the Osnabrock-Langdon area passed away peacefully under Hospice care on April 7, 2014 with family at his side at the home of his daughter in Fargo, ND after valiantly battling a rare Sarcoma cancer diagnosis given to him on February 21, 2014.

Robert was born on October 31, 1931 to William and Kathleen (Wild) Otto. Robert attended his first 8 years of school at the Osnabrock Township School and then graduated from Milton Public School. He then attended State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND. He entered the Army in 1955 and was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, KY. He served as a track mechanic working on tanks. He was discharged in 1957. Robert was a member of St. Clotilde's Church, Milton, ND and St. Alphonsus Church, Langdon, ND.

Sisters, Sally Lofthus, Nampa, ID., Pat Burgum, Mobile AL., Mary Charrier, Inver Grove Heights, MN., Fran (Harvey) Trapp, Bismarck, ND., Laura Sunsdahl, Bismarck, ND., brothers, Bobby Potts, Philippines, Bill (Terry) Potts, LaMoure, ND., Martin (Julie) Potts, Gwinner, ND., Richard (Julie) Potts, Neenah, WI., and the extended Skovgaard and Potts families. She was preceded in death by her parents Budd and Jane Potts and one sister, Virginia Evans.
