Olive Dockter was born July 6, 1926 to Emil and Albina (Hochhalter) Dockter on the family farm near Venturia, ND. She was the oldest of five children and attended McIntosh County Country School through 8th grade. Olive was married to Christ A. Diede on October 7, 1945 in Ashley, ND. They lived on farms south of Venturia, ND and then east of Eureka, SD until 1953, when they moved to West Fargo, ND. They had three daughters, and for the majority of the time raised their children in Moorhead, MN.

Russell Andersen
Russell Curtis Andersen, 71, Nevis, MN, formerly of Fargo, passed away on April 5, 2014. Russell was born March 9, 1943 in Fargo, ND to Russell and Rose Andersen. He grew up in Fargo and Maddock, ND. He graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1961. He graduated from Wahpeton State School of Science.

Russell married Lucinda Folwick on August 24, 1963 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fargo, ND. Russell was employed with LJA in Fargo, where he designed many industrial projects and various industrial piping systems. In 1975, Russell and Lucinda moved to Bismarck and Russell was employed with Basin Electric. While at Basin, Russell monitored the construction of the Headquarters building, and captured all the design and construction documents for the Unit 2 of the Leland Olds Station. He was one of the first people on both the Laramie River Station and Antelope Valley Station sites. Russell retired from Basin Electric in April of 1995. During his time in Bismarck he was active and supported his children throughout their schooling by attending numerous sporting events and band and choir concerts. Russell served as the President of the St. Mary’s Central High School Parents Music Association. He also enjoyed taking his family on numerous trips thought out the U.S. and Canada. After retirement from Basin Electric, Russell worked for the United Conveyor Corporation selling and designing ash handling systems. He was an avid supporter of both coal and lignite. Russell also worked for GPM, Inc. designing pump systems. He so enjoyed working with the wonderful and talented people there, he made lasting friendships and was proud to be part of the GPM family.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Federated Church in Morris, with Reverend Jennifer Amy-Dressler officiating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Summit Cemetery, Morris.

Ruth Norma (Christensen) Moser was born on May 31, 1933 in Skagen, Denmark to Dan and Magdalene (Nielsen) Christensen. She and her family came to America when Ruth was 13 years of age. They farmed near Barrett, MN for a short time before moving to the family farm near Morris. On August 25, 1953, she married Donald Moser, son of Dan and Jessie (Moyer) Moser. They made their home in Morris where they raised their four children and enjoyed 50 years of marriage before Don's passing in 2003.

Jane was born August 3, 1914, along with her identical twin, to William and Martha Bristol of Fargo. She graduated from Fargo Central High School and N.D.A.C. with honors. While in college, Jane was Most Representative Senior, president of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, 1936 Homecoming Queen, and a Mortar Board member, a senior honor society for women. She was also a member of Senior Division of R.O.T.C., active in Bison Brevities, and voted into Who's Who In American Universities and Colleges. Jane earned a degree in home economics merchandising and education. Following graduation, she worked at deLendrecies Department Store, Dakota Clinic, taught at Valley City, N.D. and managed a lunch room in Detroit, MI.
