Jane Bristol Erlandson
Jane Bristol Erlandson, of Fargo, N.D., died peacefully at the age of 99, at Villa Maria Nursing Home, on March 24, 2014.

Jane was born August 3, 1914, along with her identical twin, to William and Martha Bristol of Fargo. She graduated from Fargo Central High School and N.D.A.C. with honors. While in college, Jane was Most Representative Senior, president of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, 1936 Homecoming Queen, and a Mortar Board member, a senior honor society for women. She was also a member of Senior Division of R.O.T.C., active in Bison Brevities, and voted into Who's Who In American Universities and Colleges. Jane earned a degree in home economics merchandising and education. Following graduation, she worked at deLendrecies Department Store, Dakota Clinic, taught at Valley City, N.D. and managed a lunch room in Detroit, MI.

Tracy John Schmidt, 54, West Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, April 2nd, 2014 at Vibra Hospital of Fargo after a short illness. He was surrounded by family and loved ones.

Tracy was born May 15, 1959 in Fargo to Allen and Rita (Meehan) Schmidt, the 3rd of 3 children. Tracy was born with Down's Syndrome and lived in Grafton, Grand Forks, and Friendship Village in Fargo. Red River Human Services, Svee home in Fargo (later West Fargo), was his home for many years until his passing.

Minerva Rosealine Franek of Fargo died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Rosewood on Broadway.

Minerva was born November 10, 1910 in Fargo, ND, the daughter of Arthur and Rosealine Streed. She graduated from North Dakota Agriculture College (NDSU) with a degree in Physical Education in 1932. She taught Physical Education in the Fargo-Moorhead school system and was one of the first playground directors. She married Godfrey Joseph Franek June 29, 1935. He died September 1, 1991.

Robert Franklin Muhle
Robert Franklin Muhle, age 82, of Salem, OR passed away peacefully into the presence of the Lord at Premier Care Homes (Trapper House) on Friday, March 21, 2014.

Bob was born January 12, 1932, to Ole and Edith (Beckman) Muhle in Moorhead, MN. He, his twin brother Duane and sister Gerrie grew up in Longville, MN, helping their granddad at the resort and learning to swim like fish. The family moved to St. Paul and then Glyndon, MN, where the Muhle twins became talented athletes. Bob graduated from Glyndon High School in 1950. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1952, serving in the naval aviator branch doing reconnaissance mapping during the Korean War.
