Pamela Jean Mathern, 57, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley; after a very brave and courageous, almost three year battle with cancer.

Victor L. Wolf
Victor L. Wolf, 71, of Esmond, ND, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the home of his daughter Joy and Robbie Perlichek in Burlington, ND after battling cancer for three and a half years.
Victor was born on April 26, 1941 to John & Katie (Vetter) Wolfe in Esmond, ND. Following graduation from Esmond High School in 1959, he ventured to California and worked at a fertilizer packaging plant for a short time. Upon returning to North Dakota he married MaryElaine Dorscher, the love of his life, on October 17, 1960. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary prior to MaryElaine’s death in April of 2001. The couple made their home on a farm west of Esmond where they farmed and ranched until Victor’s health diminished.
