Russell Charles Nolan, age 57, resident of Cooperstown, ND died at home on Thursday, January 16, 2014.

Russell was born on October 22, 1956 in Chelsea, MA the son of Joel and Corinne (Meredith) Randall. He grew up in Williamsburg, VA. In 1973 he joined the Army and was stationed in Korea. When he returned he worked as a framing carpenter in Phoenix, AZ, he also worked as a custodian in Raleigh, NC hospital. He spent many years as a parts manager for Komatsu Equipment. He also worked years at Caterpillar and Case Power & Equipment. Russell met Crystal Germundson at a bowling alley in 1985 and they were married September 9, 1989. After Case & Company was sold the Nolan family moved to Moline, IL where he worked for Murphy Brothers Pipeline Company. In January 1994 Russell & family moved back to ND. He worked at Sheyenne Tooling, Cenex in Hope, ND and TSR in Colgate, ND. Russell spent the last 14 years working for Posi Lock Puller as a warehouse manager.

Leo E Wittenberg
Leo E Wittenberg born Oct 4th 1945 in Bismarck ND to Leo and Ruth Wittenberg, died peacefully at Solvay House Hospice Duluth MN on January 9th 2014 at the age of 68. He served in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1967. After his discharge he married Frances Stevens Aug 12th 1967 in England. He was employed by Marconi Instruments in St Albans, England, before returning to the States in 1969. He worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone (US West) in Fargo, Grand Forks, and Duluth until his retirement in 1996. He is survived by wife Frances, daughter Elizabeth (Jeremy) Walton; grandchildren Richard, James, and Henry Walton; and son Matthew; grandchildren Ethan and Riley Wittenberg, brother Glenn Wittenberg, his wife Mary and their son Andrew; brother-in-law Richard Stevens. Leo requested that there be no funeral services. The family will have a reception at the Clubhouse at 2158 Miller Creek Drive, Sundby Road, Duluth on Wednesday 15th January from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm. Arrangements were made with Cremation Society of Minnesota. His cremains will be interred at the ND Veterans Cemeter
