Minnesota's Benick blanks opponents on way to freestyle national title
FARGO – Lance Benick has had quite the year. The 16-year-old, of Forest Lake, Minn., won a Minnesota state championship, a Junior Folkstyle championship, qualified for the Freestyle Cadet World Team and took home titles in the Cadet level for the USA Greco-Roman and Freestyle National Championships at 220 pounds this week at the Fargodome.
