PRAIRIE ROSES: To the organizers and supporters of Alexa’s Hope “Give to Live” challenge, which fell shy of its goal to set a new Guinness World Record for signing up the most organ donors in eight hours. The event, organized by Loren and Monica Kersting, signed up 489 people in three north Fargo locations. The Kerstings’ 14-year-old daughter, Alexa, died in 2004 while waiting for a double-lung transplant. They formed Alexa’s Hope, an organization dedicated to promoting organ donation. “Give to Live” was a great accomplishment, world record or no world record, and helped spread an important message.

Crowds enjoy theatrical pro wrestling in St. Paul
ST. PAUL - Venom was met with boos as soon as he walked into the room.
