The Funeral Service for Harland Swatfager, age 91, ND, will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 31, 2014 in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Fargo. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7 P.M. on Thursday, January 30, 2014 in Boulger Funeral Home and Celebration of Life Center, Fargo. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in the Holy Cross North Cemetery, Fargo.

Gary M. Volk, 70, Minot, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014, in a Minot hospital.

Gary was born on March 17, 1943, in Harvey, ND, the son of Steve and Agnes (Conrad) Volk. He attended St. Cecelia’s School in Harvey and in 1961 graduated from Harvey High School. After graduation, Gary attended Minot State University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Education. He continued his education at the University of Northern Colorado earning his Master’s Degree in Administration.
