Herbert Irwin Swanson
Herbert Irwin Swanson, “Irwin”, 82 of Carrington, ND, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at The Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, New Rockford, ND surrounded by family with his wife holding his hand.
Born March 15, 1931 in Rugby, ND, the son of Herbert and Rubelle (Romfo) Swanson. The family moved to Nordmore Township when Irwin was ten. He attended Nordmore Public School through 8th grade.

It’s late, but not too late. That’s pretty much the consensus among farmers of the Red River Valley, whose machines are out this week preparing the ground and seeding crops. It is a late start, but it seems much later because last year at this time most crops had been seeded.
