Edward E. Fennern
Edward E. Fennern, known by many as “Pete” was born August 4, 1933, in Bismarck, ND, the son of Emil and Martha (Kielhorn) Fennern. As a young child, Pete’s family moved to his parent’s farm south of Twin Valley, MN. Following his schooling, Pete farmed the home place for many years. He raised small grains of wheat and oats.

On May 23, 1964, Pete was united in marriage to Mary Ann Orwald. The couple made their home in Twin Valley, a place they would call home for nearly 50 years. Over those years, Pete was employed by Abbott Arne and Schwindt for a time before working as a large dump truck operator for Reserve Mining in Babbitt, MN. After the closing of Reserve Mining, Pete began working at KBI in Twin Valley until his retirement. In the fall of 2012, Pete and Mary Ann moved to Bridges Care Community in Ada. Pete died Sunday, October 20, 2013, at the Benedictine Care Community at the age of 80.
