Jon Kelly Echternacht, 68, died at his home in River Falls on Saturday, March 29, of lung cancer. At his side were his sweetheart and wife of 28 years, Jeannie Gryzwa, and members of the family he loved so much.

Jon was born in Buffalo Center, Iowa, in 1945 to John “Jack” and Floreine “Flo” Echternacht. He grew up in Brainerd, Minn., with his sisters, Jane and Jean. He graduated in 1964 from Washington High School, where he was co-captain of the football team.

Janet E. Fox
A memorial service for Janet E. Fox (82) of Hawley, MN, will be held on April 5, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Lysne Lutheran Church in rural Hawley, MN. Janet passed on 24 Feb 2014 at Sanford Health of Fargo following complications resulting from side effects of medications.

Janet was born on Jan. 17 1932 to Leslie and Clara Olich of Moorhead MN. Janet was the 6th of 13 children and attended all of her scholling in Moorhead MN. The summers of her youth were spent enjoying the cool waters of the family cottage on Cotton Lake. Janet was never one to be idle. She started her employment career at the age of 12 at St. Johns Hospital. From there she continued to work in various careers until her final retirement from the Court Administrators office of Clay County. Retirement isn't really the correct word as she continued to volunteer at several local organizations and church endeavors until her death.
