Denis "Izzy" Isrow
Denis "Izzy" Isrow, 76, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Eventide on 8th, Moorhead, MN. After a courageous battle with multiple myeloma.

Denis Francis Isrow was born February 26, 1936 in Detroit, MI to Francis and Dorothy (Dockter) Isrow. He attended school at St. Anthony Catholic School, graduating in 1955. He then joined the US Marine Corps, serving until 1959. He served as a medic in the North Dakota Air National Guard and the South Dakota Army Guard. He later attended the University of Detroit before transferring to Adams State (CO) College in 1961. While completing work on his degree in physical education he served as a student athletic trainer. He earned his master's degree from NDSU in 1965 and a doctorate of education from the University of Utah in 1975.

Dorothy A. Dodds
Dorothy Ann Dodds, age 89, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012, in Sanford Health, Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, ND.

Dorothy Ann Dodds was born on August 11, 1923 to Warren and Alma (Simonsen) Dodds in Lisbon, ND. The family moved to Moorhead in 1940 and she graduated from Moorhead High School in 1941. She attended Moorhead State Teachers College during World War II, graduating with an elementary education degree in 1945. She earned her master's degree in education from Colorado State University in 1948.

Dorothy A. Foster
Dorothy A. Foster, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2012 at the age of 80. Dorothy earned her teaching degree and taught in both South Dakota and North Dakota. She was active in PTA, her church community, NDSU Woman's Groups, and the Fargo YWCA.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Earl. Dorothy is survived by daughters Mary Beth Baron, her husband Alan, and son Ben, Sara Foster and her partner Georgia Koch, and older brother Steve Acheson, and four of her husband's siblings.

Thelma (Sally) Wold
August 6, 1916 - December 2, 2012

Thelma (Sally) Wold was born in Rugby, North Dakota in 1916, the daughter of Laura and Anton M Nielsen. She spent her childhood in Rugby then graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1938. It was there that she met her husband, Dr. Lester E. Wold. They were married in 1940. After Les joined the Fargo Clinic in 1948 Fargo became their home and remained so for Sally until 2002 when she moved permanently to Sun City, Arizona. Sally was an active volunteer in the Fargo community where she served as the first woman elder in the First Presbyterian Church. The PEO Sisterhood, YWCA, and Fine Arts Club of Fargo were just some of her other activities there.

JoAnn Quale
JoAnn Quale of Williston, formerly of Fargo, New Town and Keene died Friday, November 30, 2012 at Bethel Lutheran Nursing Home. Funeral services will be celebrated at Keene First Lutheran Church 2 PM Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Rev. Rob favorite and Rev. Kevin Beard will officiate and she will rest internally next to her parents in the church yard cemetery, Good Hope.

JoAnn Carol Quale was born July 23, 1957 in Watford City, North Dakota to George and Lillian (Pederson) Quale. Her grandmothers lived with the family until the time of their deaths. JoAnn loved the family she grew up in. As she grew older this love was extended to her in-laws, nephews (or Rug Rats, as she called them until they were adults) and her great-nephew (also, a Rug Rat). JoAnn was baptized and confirmed as a member of Keene First Lutheran Church of Keene.
