Gregg H. Bale, 82, Fargo, ND, died Friday, April 19, 2013, in Sanford Hospital, Fargo.
Gregg Hamilton Bale, the son of Agnes and Kirk Bale Sr., was born in Wahpeton, ND, on November 9, 1930. He grew up and received his education in Wahpeton and in Velva, ND. In 1950, Gregg entered the US Army. He served overseas in Germany and was honorably discharged in 1953.

Roger A. Elliott, West Fargo, ND, 69, passed away unexpectedly, after a brief illness, on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND.
Roger Allen Elliott was born on Feb. 27, 1944 in Fergus Falls MN to Robert and Rachel (Nelson) Elliott. He graduated from FFHS, was a member of the US Military (Army) and farmed near Dalton, MN. He married Opal Brist in 1965, and they had one child, Tami. They later divorced. Throughout his working career, he worked at Cass Clay Creamery, Pam Oil, Jacobson Transport, Pella Windows, Western Coop, and several other trucking companies. He married Nancy Kost in 1986. Together with their rescue dog, Whitty, they made their home in West Fargo. Roger and Whitty were well known to their neighborhood, due to their many daily walks and visits with all their neighbors. Roger always enjoyed sharing a good story with everyone he met. His quick wit and generous nature will be missed. His generosity followed him in death, with his decision to donate his body to UND School of Medicine for research.

Lorraine Breivold
Lorraine passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Essentia Health in Fargo surrounded by her family.
Lorraine Villiard was born on September 21, 1929, the daughter of John and Sarah (Mullet) Villiard in Ulen, MN. Lorraine married Alpha Rheault on June 23, 1947 and they farmed south of Fargo most of their married life. Lorraine enjoyed her work at Herbst, Singers, DeLendrecies/Herbergers, and Discovery School. She was very active in the Eagles Auxiliary for many years – a member of the Ritual Team for several years, served as president of the auxiliary and in 2012 was inducted into the Eagles State Hall of Fame. Lorraine was married to Jerry Breivold on December 26, 1981. They spend their retirement years together in south Fargo. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time with her family.

A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Baptist Home Chapel in Bismarck with Chaplain Clyde Zimbelman officiating and funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 1004 E. House Concurrent Resolution 3047 failed 24-23 in the Senate on Thursday afternoon, and an attempt to reconsider the vote failed later in the day by a 24-22 vote.
