Helen (Brandsted) Fitzpatrick
Helen Eilene Fitzpatrick, 89, passed away on September 18, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.

She was born in 1924 in Miller SD to Charles “Pard” and Lucretia (Monroe) Brandsted. They moved to the Red River Valley of North Dakota in 1934 to farm. Helen went to a one-room country school and Amenia High School. She graduated in Home Economics from North Dakota Agricultural College (now NDSU) in Fargo then taught in Tower City after her marriage to Edward Leach in 1947. They had 4 children; Barbara Lea, of Kansas City, James Leach of Manteca, California, Douglas Leach of San Ramon California and Michael Leach of Couer d’Alene Idaho.

Janice Neumann
Janice Neumann, 74, Ada, MN, went to be with her heavenly father on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on August 4th, 1939, to Clarence and Glendora (Wilson) Melby, in Greenbush, MN. Janice graduated from Greenbush High School in 1957. She attended NDSU in Fargo, graduating in 1961 with a degree in Home Economics. In 1960 she was named NDSU Homecoming Queen. She taught Home Economics at Fertile High School from 1960-1963. Janice was united in marriage to Howard Neumann on October 29th, 1963 at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Ada, MN. Janice joined Howard in the dairy operation while raising four children.

She enjoyed serving in her church, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. She loved her family and her husband, Howard of fifty years. Janice was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a phenomenal cook and loved designing and planting gardens. She had the opportunity to travel during the last ten years of her life to China, Alaska, Canada, Europe and other parts of the United States.

Michelle Stensgard
Michelle Rae "Shelly" (Swan) Stensgard, daughter of M. Gale and Myrna Swan, was born September 19, 1961, in Moorhead, MN. She was raised in Fargo, ND, and attended Fargo North High School. She worked in the food service industry, at several restaurants, and was most recently employed at Marlin's Family Restaurant in Fargo.

Michelle was blessed with two sons, Christopher and Tyler Stensgard, whom she loved dearly. Her family and friends were a big part of her life. She spent many hours entertaining and sitting around the bon fire. Michelle also loved children, and especially loved spending time with her grandson, Jaiden Stensgard, son of Christopher and Sondra. Her dogs were another love, and animals were a joy to her.
