District 2 sails through ND Class B, Region 1 volleyball tournament quarterfinals
OAKES, N.D. – Kindred made it a clean sweep for District 2 on Monday. The Vikings swept Milnor 25-12, 25-19, 25-19 during the quarterfinals of the North Dakota Class B, Region 1 volleyball tournament at Oakes High School. All four of the teams representing District 2 defeated their District 1 counterparts.

Fargo Oak Grove, Central Cass sweep first-round Class B, Region 1 volleyball tournament opponents
OAKES, N.D. – After opening with two sub-par sets on Monday, the Fargo Oak Grove volleyball team ended on a roll. The Grovers swept North Sargent 25-23, 25-21, 25-15 in the quarterfinals of the Class B, Region 1 volleyball tournament at Oakes High School. Oak Grove (30-6) ended the third set with an 11-1 run to top the Bobcats. “We started off a little slow, but we came back and we played our best,” said junior middle hitter Hannah Kelley, who finished with eight kills for the Grovers.

DICKINSON, N.D. – It was a runaway victory for Hillsboro-Central Valley. The Burros won the North Dakota Class B state girls cross country team title Saturday at Heart River Golf Course by 80 points, finishing with 63. Rugby finished in second place.
