The world lost a kind, generous, hardworking, loving man, Donald George Bottrell, on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. He was born in Langdon, North Dakota on July 31, 1951 to Philip and Constance (McIntyre) Bottrell. He was raised on a family farm between Hannah and Sarles, North Dakota where he learned the value of hard work and persistence in the face of difficult situations. He started his education in the small country school of Byron township and continued, when it closed, at Sarles elementary and graduated from Border Central High School in 1969. After graduating from high school, he attended Mayville State College and North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND and studied Construction Management. From 1971 to 1976, Don was employed by William Clairmont Construction as an Estimator and Construction Supervisor. During his time with Clairmont, he gained experience and expertise in many facets of business operations which has influenced nearly every subsequent business endeavor.
