Lance Knaup, 36, died Thursday, November 7, 2013, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Lance was born on November, 6, 1977, in Dickinson, ND, a son of Ronald and Diane (Schmaltz) Knaup. He attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School until 1988, when the family moved to Minot. He attended Little Flower Grade School and graduated from Bishop Ryan High School in 1996. He graduated from Minot State University in 2002 with a degree in Elementary Education. While attending Minot State University, he was employed at Budget Music and Video. After graduating, he taught and coached football at the New Town Public School. He was currently employed as the Sales Manager for Ryan Chevrolet.
