Timothy Lionel Michael Ray died peacefully at home, surrounded by family and loved ones, in Fargo, North Dakota on 9 February at the age of 72.

Tim was born in Indian Head, Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1940, and grew up in Regina, the oldest of four children of Lionel and Norah Ray. Attracted to art from a very young age, he graduated from the University of Manitoba, Canada and earned an MFA from the University of Arkansas.

Phyllis A. Erickson
Phyllis Ann (Thompson) Erickson, age 72 of Altoona, WI formerly of Fargo and Grand Forks, ND passed away on Saturday February 2, 2013 at Mayo Clinic Health System Eau Claire, WI.

Phyllis was born February 15, 1940, the youngest child of eight to George and Bergit (Hovet) Thompson. She graduated from Grand Forks Central High School in 1958 and earned her BA in Fine Arts from the University of North Dakota in 1962. Phyllis was a talented artist who began working at UND doing pen and ink lettering and graphics for the Department of Surgery in the 1970’s and thrived through the transition to computer graphics until her retirement in 1997. After her retirement from the University, Phyllis moved to Fargo, ND and in 2004 moved to the Eau Claire, WI area to be near her grandchildren.
