Willie Truesdell
Willie J. Truesdell, 65, Moorhead, MN, passed away on Wed., May 22, 2013, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Willie was born at home in Lisbon, ND, on August 21, 1947, to Willie N. and Annie (Schriener) Truesdell. He attended St. Aloysius Parochial School for eight years and then graduated from Lisbon High School in 1966. During his high school years, he worked every morning and afternoon for his Uncle John & Aunt Vivian "Babe" Truesdell. This afforded him nice cars. Willie always said, "You have a lot of friends until your car breaks down!"

Funeral Services for Patrick will be held Monday, May 27 at 11AM in St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church. Reverend Del Stohs will be officiating. Visitation will be held at David Donehower Funeral Home on Sunday, May 26 from 5PM until 7PM with a 7PM Prayer Service. Visitation will also continue at the church one hour prior to services on Monday. Interment will be held in St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Cemetery.

DETROIT – Add another near miss in this 2013 baseball season – this time it was Detroit’s Anibal Sanchez falling just short of a no-hitter. Sanchez’s bid was broken up with one out in the ninth inning Friday night when Minnesota’s Joe Mauer hit a clean single up the middle.
