Dr. Paul J. Henningson
Paul John Henningson passed away on Friday, April 5th, 2013 due to an aggressive cancer. He was at his home in Baxter, MN surrounded by his wife Bonnie, his two sons Nathan and William and his parents.

Paul was born in Fargo, ND on June 4, 1956 to Les and Helen (Rozum) Henningson. He was baptized and confirmed at Elim Lutheran Church. After attending Fargo Public Schools Paul went on to North Dakota State University were he first graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and later a Master's Degree in Plant Pathology. Following several years of research as a microbiologist at NDSU Paul moved with his young family to Lincoln. There he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. Upon graduation the family relocated to the Brainerd Lakes Area where Paul began practicing dentistry.

Letter: An improper use of government
The Republican majority in the legislative assembly has used its power to act as a bully by passing laws that attempt to destroy a woman’s right to make a medical decision involving her own body in consultation with her doctor and in promulgating a constitutional amendment that would have the effect of outlawing many forms of birth control that might prevent the need for an abortion. I don’t think this was what voters wanted when they voted Republican in the last election.
