Clayton Cullen
Clayton Anthony Cullen, 83, of Fargo, ND, in accordance with his wishes, he passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family while praying his nightly rosary on February 6, 2013. He was under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
He was born on August 26, 1929 to Thomas A. Cullen and Alvina Rose (Lucier) in Fargo, ND. Clayton grew up in Fargo and attended St. Mary’s School. On August 18, 1951 he married Beverly Anderson and they made their home in Fargo for most of their lives. Clayton and Beverly found great comfort in their Christian faith. He was a loving father who adored his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Clayton enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and any time spent with family. He was the gold standard for husbands and fathers and he will be greatly missed.

Mary Lou passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Hillsboro Medical Center Hospital at the age of 74.
Mary Louise Kuntz was born on August 23, 1938, the daughter of Joseph and Magdalena (Wolfe) Kuntz, in Hillsboro. She grew up in this area and graduated from Hillsboro High School. Mary Lou was united in marriage to Russell Waters on June 20, 1957 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Hillsboro. They made their home on the family farm near Hillsboro where they raised their family and worked side by side. Mary Lou also worked for the Traill County Extension Office.

Luci Spaeth Holte, 60, of Fargo, ND, died at her home on January 27th, at 2:50 am, with her children, family, and friends by her side.
Luci was born June 17, 1952 at the Ada Hospital, the fifth child of Gerard and Judy (Barrett) Spaeth. She graduated from Ada High School in 1970. Luci completed a science degree at Bemidji State College and a Nursing Degree at St. Lukes School of Nursing. On June 6, 1980 she began her employment at St. Lukes as a cardiac nurse and continued working for now Sanford (Day Unit), until her illness prevented it in October, 2012

Barb was born on June 19th, 1952 in Valley City, ND to Arlene and Douglas Larson. She grew up and attended school in Valley City. She graduated from Valley City High School in 1970 and from Valley City State University in 1974 with a degree in Education. After college she had various different jobs. One of which was a teaching job in Bird Island, MN where she met her husband Michael Brand. Barb and Mike were married on December 27, 1975. Together they made their home in Valley City, ND and had two children.

Evelyn J. Iken, 98, Fargo, ND, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Villa Maria in Fargo, ND. Evelyn was born June 23, 1914, to Jacob and Anna Jacobson, Kindred, ND. She was baptized and confirmed at Norman Lutheran Church in Kindred. Evelyn attended Richland County School, Moorhead High, and Dakota Business College.
She married Fred H. Iken in 1931. They lived in Fargo and raised one son, Robert. Evelyn worked at Herbst Department Store, NDSU, and Fairmont Retirement Home. She was a long-time member of Pontoppidan Lutheran Church. She was an active member in the Eagles Auxiliary, Royal Neighbors of America, and Retired Senior Volunteer Program. Evelyn cherished her time with friends and family. She was passionate about music and played the piano and organ.
