DiAnne B. Bridgewater
DiAnne B. Bridgewater age 71 of Jamestown, ND passed away Tuesday June 4th at home in the loving arms of her daughter, Pamela.

DiAnne Beatrice Klevgaard daughter of Signora (Volness) and George Klevgaard was born August 28th 1941 at the home of her grandparents in rural Perley, MN. She was delivered by her grandmother Amanda Volness and named by her grandfather Ditlif. She was baptized and confirmed at the Felton Lutheran church. DiAnne lived with her family in Felton MN where she helped her mother at the family owned café, she graduated Felton High School in 1959. After graduation she traveled to New Jersey where her brother was stationed and worked as a nanny. After a short marriage to General Dalen, DiAnne married Arvin "Sonny" Syverson in May of 1966 and lived on their farmstead in rural Ulen, MN with their four daughters, Kimberly Ann, Tammy Lynn, Sherrie Ann and Pamela Jean. After a divorce in 1975 she moved to Moorhead MN while attending NDSCS in Wahpeton earning a degree as an LPN. She worked many years as a loving nurse for a variety of care facilities in MN and ND her favorite being the Anne Carlson Center for Children where she showered the children with love as if they were her own. DiAnne was married to Robert "Bob" Bridgewater in May of 1981 and made their home in Windsor ND. After her retirement in 1996 her and Bob spent winters in New Mexico and summers at Meadow Lake and Many Point Lake MN. After Bobs health caused him nursing home placement she resided with her sister Fran in Moorhead MN and then a short time in Ulen MN to be closer to daughter Tammy while battling breast cancer. After winning her battle she moved to Jamestown to be closer to the rest of her children. DiAnne was shortly thereafter diagnosed with throat cancer and moved in with her daughter Pamela to receive care as she fought once again. DiAnne never gave up and managed to beat cancer a second time, sadly the battles had taken a toll on her heart. Her greatest joys were her family, friends and her beloved dog Bandit. She enjoyed going to karaoke and watching Sherrie sing, traveling including Vegas trips with Kim, dancing, crocheting, bingo, gardening, fishing, camping, playing cards with her siblings, watching her grandkids in their endeavors from modeling to dirt track racing and anything in between. She loved to put on a feast and was known for her Potato Dumplings. DiAnne was known to many as "Mom" or "Grandma" and would give the shirt off her back for anyone. Of course it may have been difficult as she chose her fuzzy warm pajamas the last couple years! She was a very strong and determined lady who never asked why? She had her faith in God and was fearless. The only fear she had was missing out on her grandson Gunnar's homecoming, her granddaughter Tonya's upcoming wedding and the birth of her newest great grandchild due to Ashley just before her next birthday. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who were blessed to have had her touch their lives.
