Chester A. Gebert
Chester A. Gebert, 86, died peacefully of natural causes on Saturday December 7, 2013 in Fargo, ND. Born August 11, 1927 in Princeton, Minnesota to William and Ida Gebert, Chet graduated from the University of Minnesota's School of Journalism in 1950. He began his career with the news staff of the New Ulm Journal and continued as a reporter/photographer for the Forum.

Chet is survived by three daughters: Valerie Gebert, New York, NY, Kimberly Stephens, Jacksonville, FL and Peggy Adamick of Pocahontas, IL; two grandsons, Christopher Michael Stephens and Colton James Adamick; one granddaugher Danielle Rose Arviso and one great-grandson, Caine Reid Stephens. Chet is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Donald, his sister, Ruth Nelson, his second wife Sharon (neé Buck) and most recently his brother Harold.
