Eugene Polum, 80, of Pelican Rapids, MN, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Baywood Manor Medical Center in Mesa, AZ.
Eugene was born February 2, 1933 in Fargo, N.D. to Peter and Alice (Wilson) Polum. He grew up in Fargo and graduated from Central High School in 1950. He married Lillian Averson in 1952, they later divorced and he married Barbara Mckinnon in 1969. She passed away in 1986 and he married Joyce Larson in 1989. He made his career in the Fargo Fire Department, becoming a Captain and serving 35 years until his retirement in 1990.
