Elois Vikander
Elois Romaine Edlund was born April 13, 1929, in Fargo, ND, to C. Selmer and Grace (Halgunseth) Edlund. She graduated from Abercrombie (ND) High School in 1946. Elois married Vernon J. Vikander on December 13, 1946, and they moved to the Black Hills (SD) Ordnance Depot in June of 1947. Elois moved to Moorhead, MN, in 1961.

Elois worked at American State Bank, Dakota Bank, and the Madison Hotel. She retired to Ottertail Lake where she loved to watch and listen to the loons, geese, and wood ducks. In December of 2009, she moved to Cozy Country Living in Hawley, MN, where she was cared for by two special angels - Jeff and Ginger Dauner.

Kimberly Ann Gronland was born in Ocean Springs, MS, on April 7, 1977, to Larry Gronland and Linda Coleman. She moved to Fargo, ND, when she was two years old and has lived there throughout her life, except when she left for college to study nursing. She graduated with a BA in nursing from Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD in 1999. She also earned a degree in legal nurse consulting soon after, and worked with several attorneys in the region.
