Jerrald "Jerry" G. Larson
Jerrald G. "Jerry" Larson, 78, of LaMoure, ND, passed away March 12, 2013, at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.
Jerrald was born at LaMoure, ND on June 10, 1934, to Alfred and Neva (Muir) Larson. He attended country school at Dean 1 and Dean 3 through the 8th grade, and graduated from LaMoure High School in 1952. Jerry joined the U.S. Navy and served aboard the USS Putnam, a destroyer from 1953 to 1957. After his discharge, he returned to LaMoure to help his parents on the farm. On February 27, 1959, Jerry married Dorothy Smith. They made their home on the family farm until 1960, when they moved to Dickey, North Dakota, where Jerry worked at the Adrian Elevator. In 1961, the family moved to LaMoure, and Jerry was employed by the LaMoure Creamery, Art's Red Owl, and Willey's Milk Service along with starting his side business, Larson Septic Service in 1968, which he worked for 45 years. In 1973, he went to work for the Melroe Company in Gwinner, retiring in October of 1997 after 24½ years. Jerry also enjoyed his part time job doing farm work for Herb and Dakotah Harmsen, and Larry Harmsen.

Ray A. Goehring
Ray A. Goehring, age 72, passed away March 3, 2013 in his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Ray A. Goehring, son of Francis and Ruth (Ames) Goehring was born July 10, 1940 in Marion, North Dakota. He grew up and attended school in Dickey, North Dakota. In September of 1957, Ray entered the U.S. Navy and served his country until July of 1961. After his discharge, he returned to North Dakota and worked as an electrician in LaMoure. In 1964, he moved to Fargo and became employed with Border States Electric. Ray was united in marriage to Myra Baumgartner on February 27, 1965 in LaMoure. Throughout the years, they made their home in Fargo, Bismarck, and Grand Forks, North Dakota along with Phoenix Arizona. Ray retired in 1999 after 35 years of employment with Border States Electric, and he and Myra moved to Mesquite, Nevada. Myra passed away on August 11, 2008. After her death, Ray briefly returned to North Dakota before settling in Lake Havasu, Arizona.

Anna Geffre
Anna Mary Geffre was born on November 2, 1945, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Weigel) Geffre in LaMoure, ND. She grew up in this area and graduated from LaMoure High School in 1964. Ann furthered her education at North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND. Following her graduation she began working at Kindred Electric in Kindred, ND, later moving to Minneapolis where she worked for an advertising agency. Ann moved to Fargo in 1973 where she began her career at Blue Cross Blue Shield in Fargo working there for 30 years. Shortly after her retirement, Ann returned to the workforce, working for her nephew at The Lockshop as the bookkeeper until 2012.
At age 8, Ann contracted Polio which affected her throughout her life. Despite her challenges she never let any of them get in the way of her accomplishments. Her determined spirit and loving heart will be remembered by all of her family and those who knew and loved her. In the past few years, Ann had made her home at One Oak Place in Fargo where she appreciated the many friends she made - especially her card buddies. She was also very active in her church and bible study, and volunteered for Hospice of the Red River Valley.
