Glennice Houser Baumgartner, 77, West Fargo, ND died on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 at Essentia Health, Fargo.

Glennice McClaflin was born April 2, 1936 to Ollie Paeper and was raised by her grandparents, Charles and Tina Paeper. She grew up in Oriska, ND and graduated from high school there. She received her teaching degree from Valley City Teachers College and later her accounting degree from Moorhead State. Glennice married Russell Houser on November 23, 1956 in Moorhead, MN. They made their home in West Fargo where she worked in the cafeteria at the West Fargo Public Schools. Russ was killed in a truck accident in 1981. Glennice married Gerald Baumgartner on Dec. 7, 1985 in West Fargo. They traveled with Jerry’s employment as a heavy equipment operator and spent much time in Utah and Nevada where she worked as a tax preparer. Upon his retirement in the early 2000’s, they returned to West Fargo. Jerry recently passed away on Dec. 6, 2013.
