Marty Ray Cantler, 55, of Amenia, ND passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in the loving arms of his family. Marty was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and Grandpa. Being a Grandpa to his 4 beautiful grandsons brought him the utmost joy.

Marty was born on February 5, 1959 to Ron and Betty Cantler at St. Luke's Hospital in Fargo, ND. He attended Fargo schools and graduated from Fargo South High School in 1977. He was employed by Case New Holland for over 20 years. He had many close co-workers and he cherished their friendship and support.

Jim Bartnick, 64, Wahpeton, ND, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton. Visitation will be Friday, from 5 PM to 7 PM with a 7 PM Prayer Service at Willow Creek Chapel, Wahpeton, and one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be at North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND. Arrangements have been entrusted to Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton.

Jim was born on May 28, 1949 to Orville and Ruby (Ostby) Bartnick in Veblen, SD. He was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church, Claire City, SD and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lidgerwood, ND. He attended school in rural Claire City and graduated from New Effington High School in 1967.
