Ron “snowflake” Berglund, 77, Moorhead, MN died on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.

Ronald Peter Burton Berglund was born May 12, 1935 in Moorhead, MN to Alfred and Blanche (Strum) Berglund. He grew up at Comstock, MN and upon graduation the family moved to Moorhead. Ron married Cheryl Lien on July 17, 1954 in Fargo. They lived in the Fargo-West Fargo area along with Grand Forks before settling in Detroit Lakes, MN where they lived for 30 years. In 2007, they moved to Moorhead. Ron worked as a painter with Rothhouse Construction and Asp Construction before starting his own business, Berglund Decorating. He was a sub-contractor for many construction companies in the area.
