She then attended Mankato State University in Mankato, MN, where she received her Nursing degree. She had a passion for care-giving and interacting with people, and nursing allowed her to live out this love.

Higher Ed board unanimously approves Bison Sports Arena renovation
One down, one approval to go for the Bison Sports Arena renovation. The North Dakota state Board of Higher Education unanimously supported the Sanford Health Athletic Complex without any discussion on Thursday. “That’s a great step,” said NDSU athletic director Gene Taylor. The project still has to go before the North Dakota Legislative Council Budget Section next month in Bismarck. If approved, it’s expected that construction could start after the New Year. “We’re getting closer,” Taylor said. “Every step gets us closer.”

Marvin Eddie Otterson, 84, Harwood, ND passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Sanford Health. He was born on May 2, 1929 to Edward and Myrtle (Gram) Otterson in Kindred, ND. He grew up in the Kindred and Walcott area where he attended school. In 1947, he enlisted in the Army Air Force where he was stationed in Panama. Marv was honorably discharged in 1950.

On June 8, 1952 he was united in marriage to Beverly Bunn at Trinity Lutheran Church in Enderlin, ND.

Donald W. Wadeson, 84, Fargo, ND died on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 at Sanford Health, Fargo.

Don was born Sept. 16, 1929 at Alice, ND to William “Booster” and Mary (Grommesh) Wadeson. He grew up at Alice and attended school in Alice and Enderlin, ND. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War on the USS Charles P. Cecil from 1951 to 1954. Don married Bernice Schur on Nov. 11, 1955. They made their home in Fargo. Don worked as a salesman with Bridgeman Creamery/Land O’Lakes from 1955 to 1970. In 1970, he started with Northwest Beverage where he worked for 35 years.
