George Ludwig, 97, Fargo, ND, formerly of Pelican Rapids, MN, died Thursday, August 29 at Golden Manor Assisted Living Center in Detroit Lakes. A celebration of the life of George Ludwig will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 6, at David-Donehower Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Leonard’s Cemetery, Pelican Rapids, MN.

Rita Rose (Clingman) Hadland 82, of Grand Forks, ND, went home to her Lord, Saturday August 31. She passed away at her home surrounded by family.

Rita was a very amazing woman. The love she had for her family and friends was astounding. Everything she took on she accomplished with grace and style. Rita was a superb hostess who loved cooking and baking her well-known brown and white brownies, her much-loved heath bars, and sour dough bread to name just a few. Rita enjoyed skiing, golf, horses, volunteering at the ND Museum of Art, her Republican involvement, and Bible study.

Pamela G. Quamme, 61, Wahpeton, ND, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at St. Francis Healthcare Campus, Breckenridge, MN. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at Bethel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton. Visitation will be Friday from 5 PM to 7 PM with a 7 PM Prayer Service at Bethel Lutheran Church. There also will be visitation one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be at Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Dwight, ND. Vertin-Munson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pam was born August 24, 1952 at Breckenridge, MN, the daughter of Warren and Dorothy (Schmidt) Doberstein. She grew up in Wahpeton, attending school and graduating from Wahpeton High School in 1970. She attended NDSU in Fargo, ND. Pam worked in the banking industry for many years, more recently working at Wal-Mart in Wahpeton.
