Services celebrating the life of Karen Rae Corbin, will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Atonement Lutheran Church St. Cloud. Karen, age 64, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Rev. Erica Kennedy will officiate. Friends and relatives may call on Friday, August 16th from 4:00PM to 8:00 PM at the Williams Dingmann Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

Karen was born February 19, 1949 to the late Wayne and Alma (Hartmann) Hackett in Crookston, Minnesota, which is also where she was raised. She attended Central High School in Crookston, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Larry A. Corbin, Sr. on February 26, 1966. Karen “as she put it” was the CEO of the Corbin household her whole life. She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church. Karen enjoyed many things in life all of which she embraced with so much passion, optimism and enthusiasm. This included gardening, girls night out, bowling, traveling, the traditional yearly trip to the Minnesota State Fair, and watching her children and grandchildren participate in sporting events.
