Duane “Keith” Facey
Duane “Keith” Facey, 85, formerly of Lidgerwood, ND, died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Lake Region Hospital, Fergus Falls, MN. Keith was born March 3, 1927 to Ted and Bernice (Hanson) Facey. He grew up in Gilby, ND, graduated high school and then enlisted in the Navy. After the Navy, he earned a business degree at UND, Grand Forks, ND. He married Florence Scheeler in July 1951. They lived in Enderlin, ND and co-operated a Gambles Store. They moved to Lidgerwood, ND in 1954 and owned Gambles Keith Facey & Sons, Inc. store until 1982. He then sold subscriptions to the Dakota Farmer and insurance products for Harvest Agents until he retired in 1995. Florence passed away on September 4, 1972.
Keith loved to dance (he attended 2 to 3 dances in the area per week). He belonged to the local snowmobile club and was a member of the American Legion & Knights of Columbus.

Mabel Hanson, 96, of Fargo, ND, passed away early Sunday morning December 30, 2012 at Elim Care Center in Fargo.
Mabel Edith Maloney was born to Wade and Ella (Frost) Maloney on September 7, 1916. She was raised and educated in Tower City, ND. Following high school, Mabel attended Dakota Business College in Fargo. While working at the courthouse, Mabel met Francis Hanson. They were married in Fargo and moved to the family farm in Tower City. Francis preceded her in death July 15, 1992, just one month prior to their 50th wedding anniversary. Mabel moved to Fargo after the loss of Francis. She enjoyed living in two apartments before moving to Waterford at Harwood Groves and then to assisted living. After breaking her hip in February 2004, she entered the nursing home. She was a resident of Elim Care Center since May of 2004.

Susan (Heinze) Lugo
Susan (Heinze) Lugo, age 55, of Fargo and formerly of Dazey, ND died Sunday Dec. 30, 2012 at Elim Nursing Home in Fargo.
Surrounded by her family, Susan Heinze Lugo entered into Heaven on December 30, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was carried to Heaven while being serenaded by the angels where she met her Heavenly Father, rejoicing with those that have gone before her. Susan Marie Heinze was born December 18, 1957 at Valley City, ND. The daughter of Edwin and Dorothy (Beckstrom) Heinze, she grew up on the family farm east of Dazey and attended school at Luvurne where she graduated with the Class of 1976. Suzi, as she was known as by her family & friends, developed long lasting friendships and made many happy memories during those years. In June of 1976, Suzi was united in marriage to Thomas Ertelt. With this union, came two children Stacey and Jason. Soon after, Suzi and Tom were blessed with two more children, Laura and Dustin. They lived in Luvurne until moving to West Fargo in 1986. There Suzi began her own cleaning business that flourished. She had many cherished customers that she loved and considered part of her extended family. Suzi had a flair for decorating and was always creating something new and cheerful. She will be remembered for her love of flowers, conversations over a cup of coffee and for her willingness to always help others. Her greatest love was her family and sharing in the events of her children and her grandchildren. All who knew Suzi will definitely miss her daily phone calls and texts, the uplifting sound of her voice and her laughter. Her strength and courage during her illness was immeasurable. Through her treatment she remained strong and asked all to pray and "believe".
