Chy Hay Uong, 88, of Fargo, ND, died Monday, August 26, 2013 at Essentia Health, Fargo. Chy was born August 30, 1924 in China. He grew up in China working on the family farm, moving to Cambodia at the age of 17. He started his own business making woven scarves for farmers to shade them from the sun while in the fields. He married Eng Huy Ung in Cambodia in 1954.

On August 22, 2013, LaVere Ada (Farnham) Kossick passed away peacefully at Sanford Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.

She was born to Howard and Elizabeth (Buendinger) Farnham on September 27, 1914 in Chaffee, ND. LaVere was the fourth of eight children. She attended school in Chaffee before the family moved to Fargo in 1929, the year of the Great Depression. There she helped raise her younger siblings.

Vance Lee Goodmanson, 66, Wimbledon, ND passed away peacefully in his home on August 16, 2013, surrounded by his family. He will be dearly missed.

Vance Goodmanson was born June 6, 1947, in Lemmon, SD to George "Art" and Mary (Rotter) Goodmanson. He graduated from Lemmon High School in 1965 and later that year married Suzanne Manning. Vance joined the Army National Guard in 1965 and served for six years. In March of 1975, Vance married Marion Schaunaman and lived in Belle Fourche, SD where he started his own plumbing business.

Sharon (Giesler) Kinzler, 68 of Monango, ND was born on March 31, 1945 to Oscar and LaVern (Klettke) Giesler in Kulm, ND. She grew up on a farm 8 miles south of Kulm and graduated from the Kulm High School. She attended Ellendale State Teachers College studying as an elementary education major. Later in life, she obtained her LPN and worked at the Oakes Community Hospital.

She married her high school sweetheart, Brunno Kinzler on June 5, 1964. They had three children, David Kinzler, Kevin Kinzler, and Melissa Worrel, and eight grandchildren.
